Sealing Compounds

Unasco have developed a number of proprietary paste compounds ideally suited to sealing and anti-seize applications. These pastes are used in situations where thread seal tapes are inappropriate. The paste compounds provide the perfect combination of galling prevention, corrosion resistance and sealing required for industrial applications. Based on PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) these pastes come in a number of types:

– Copper paste – ideally suited to copper installations where corrosion , galling and galvanic pitting are problems
– Stainless steel paste – developed for use with stainless steel installations to prevent galling and seizing
– Nickel pastes – developed for use in nickel installations to prevent seizing and galling.
– Aluminium paste – developed for use in applications involving aluminium assemblies to prevent seizing
